Kamal Haasan’s own upcoming bilingual venture ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ ( ‘Eenadu’ in telugu) has completed the shooting and is all set to release. Opposite to Kamal haasan, Mohan Lal plays the prominant role in the tamil version whereas Venkatesh plays the same in the telugu version.

Kamal plays the role of Nasseeruddin Shah who is a common man.

The film is said to be the remake of ‘A Wednesday’ but grapevine has it that some minor changes will be made to the script, to make it suitable for Tamil audiences.

The film is produced under Kamal’s own Rajkamal banner in association with UTV.

Actress Lakshmi, who has played Kamal’s interest in many films in the past, is playing an important role in ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’.

Ulaganagayan Kamal suits in best to all roles and also this one is expected to be a lot different one from his other films.

 

The film begins like the police commissioner of Mumbai who is going to retire from the next day narrates the toughest case he handled.

The film is being made in three languages Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu.
