Although Surya is not in town and is shooting for his next flick Aadhavan in South Africa, his fans all over Tamil Nadu celebrated the occasion by indulging in numerous activities proclaiming their love to the star. More than 100 fans donated blood as part of the birthday celebrations. Here is the gallery of photos taken at the blood donation camp.
The blood donation camp took place in Government hospital Chennai and many fans of Surya participated to donate their blood.

This snap says about the Government hospital’s moving blood bank in association with Surya fans club to organize the camp.
The event was presided over by MLA S.Ve. Shekar and he took an active part in organizing and co-ordinating with the doctors of the hospital.
Surya Fan Association officials including Honorary President, K.Gnanavel, S.R. Prakash Babu, President Parameshvaran and Vice Secratary Veeramani took part in the blood donation camp.
After donating the blood, fans are advised to take rest for half-hour to relax and to make them free.
Is it paining? Don’t worry. After all it’s a small pain, you can manage. But your blood is going to give life to a person.
To make the blood come faster without breakings Shekar advises the fan to press the ball to give the pressure to blood circulation.
